Reporting &
Surveys

The Media Integrity Project evaluates media coverage beyond individual articles. While our ReporterLens™ AI Tool analyzes articles on a case-by-case basis, we also identify broader patterns and trends at the reporter level through our ReporterAnalytics™ Tool. In addition to this analysis, we distribute a SubjectSurvey to individuals featured in articles to gather feedback on the real-world outcomes of the coverage. This includes measuring business and personal impact, relationship effects, and mental health implications. These insights, combined with ReporterAnalytics™ findings, are compiled into a comprehensive report and delivered as constructive, data-driven feedback to the reporter.

The Reporter Report™ is available FREE to any writer-journalist who is a guest on our Podcast, Humanity in Journalism. Journalists can apply to be on the Podcast or be invited. Click here to learn more about the Podcast:

Below is a sample of some of the measurements included in our ReporterAnalytics review for Author/Article Patterns & Trends.

Again, this is just a sampling of what is included in the analytics, taking published articles over a period of time by the same author/writer/reporter. We like to have a minimum of 30-50 articles to be able to establish trends and patterns. This report is FREE to any Humanity in Journalism Podcast Guest. The Media Integrity Project SubjectSurvey is a survey we send to the subjects of these articles. As our goal is to see how stories impact lives, it is the third component to our analyses. We reach out to subjects - they can be representatives or employees of firms, individuals, organizations, and additionally, they can send this survey link to their spouses, children, friends, vendors, as we are looking to measure full human impact on an article. The survey results will also be included in The Reporter Report. Again, you will need to be a Podcast guest to receive this feedback and report.
